Configuring multi-factor authentication

After you log in using your user name and password, you can configure multi-factor authentication (MFA).

You can configure multi-factor authentication (MFA):
  • If the Rocket Support administrator has enabled MFA at the application level, you can configure MFA.
  • If your community administrator has enabled MFA for community users, you are required to configure MFA.
If the Rocket Support administrator did not enable MFA for the application, you are not required to configure MFA.
  1. On the Configure multi-factor authentication pop-up, click Configure MFA.
  2. On the Configure multi-factor authentication pop-up, configure at least two types of MFA, as described in the related topics:
Out of the MFA methods you configure, you can choose one to be your default MFA method. The other methods will be your backup MFA methods in case you are not able to authenticate using the default MFA.
Note: Initially, the first MFA method that you configure is selected as the default MFA method. After you set up at least two MFA methods, you can change the default MFA method.
