Multi-factor authentication
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an additional layer of security for your account, in addition to the first-level authentication using user name and password.
MFA can be enabled at three levels:
- Application level: Only the Rocket Support administrator can enable or disable MFA at the application level. By default, MFA is enabled. If MFA is enabled at the application level, community owners and users cannot disable it.
- Community level: Rocket Support users can enable MFA for community members based on requests from community administrators. If MFA is enabled at the community level, community users are required to configure the MFA for their accounts.
- User level: If MFA is enabled at the application level, users can choose to configure MFA or cancel MFA for their accounts. If MFA is enabled at the community level, users must configure MFA for their accounts.
