Introduction to a TRUexchange GSN Data Exchange community

TRUexchange is a product included with Rocket Software’s Cloud B2B Supply Chain Integration Platform, which enables companies to establish communities in which company employees and partner employees can exchange files between each other.

For example, manufacturers working with customers and suppliers can exchange files frequently. The files can be of any type or size, including large CAD files. Files are transmitted and can be exchanged quickly and securely between users. A TRUexchange Global Supplier Network (GSN) Data Exchange community is an instance of this type of community.

A TRUexchange GSN community is a specific type of community used for exchanging files between company users and users belonging to the company’s partners. When Rocket Software creates a TRUexchange GSN community for a company, that company is the "owner" of the community. The community owner pays for a certain number of distinct active users per month for the community, including owner company users and partner company users.

The annual cost to subscribe to a TRUexchange GSN community is based on the total number of distinct active users per month for the community, including owner company users and partner company users. A quotation for a TRUexchange GSN Community can be obtained from the Rocket Sales Team. It is important to note that when a partner user is invited to join a TRUexchange GSN Community, there is no cost for the partner company, because the GSN Community owner has already paid for it.

For each Rocket Software GSN community, Rocket Software works with the owner to assign and setup administrators. The company administrators can then administrate the GSN community, invite users to join the community and manage users once they have joined.

A TRUexchange GSN community free trial for 30 days is available for new and existing customers.

This book explains how to register with the Rocket Software TRUexchange platform and obtain the TRUexchange GSN community free trial or the purchased version of TRUexchange GSN community for your company. To learn more about using TRUexchange to exchange files, see the TRUexchange User Guide.
